Patrick Stokes, Salesforce EVP for Product and Industries Marketing, kicked off the keynote by introducing the concept of \u201cAgentblazers,\u201d describing them as \u201cpioneers who are building a world where humans and digital agents collaborate.\u201d He emphasized AI\u2019s role in addressing workforce challenges caused by slowing global population growth\u2014a message that seemed disconnected from the immediate concerns of developers and administrators in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I caught myself wondering whether a diminishing workforce is a CEO or policymaker concern, not something the developers and admins in the room could relate to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event\u2019s reduced emphasis on community traditions\u2014no high-profile \u201cGolden Hoodie\u201d presentation and fewer iconic Salesforce characters and decorative elements\u2014contributed to what several attendees described as a \u201cless magical\u201d experience. The recent dismantling of Salesforce\u2019s Well Architected program and team appeared to dramatically compound community concerns, with some attendees questioning the company\u2019s commitment to foundational platform education amid its AI push.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Informal feedback gathered throughout the event revealed the sentiment gap:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cAgentforce is impressive, but I&#8217;m not sure if it directly impacts my day-to-day work yet.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cIt feels more tech-driven than customer-driven, unlike earlier Salesforce innovations.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cAgentforce hooks up to your existing Flows and actions, but they aren\u2019t teaching us enough about the basics!\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI wish there were better forums for community members to present their own solutions.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-agentforce-2dx-technical-advancements-in-detail\">Agentforce 2dx: Technical Advancements in Detail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite these tensions, Salesforce delivered substantial technical advancements through Agentforce 2dx:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-developer-tools-and-infrastructure\">Developer Tools and Infrastructure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adam Evans, Salesforce EVP &amp; GM for Agentforce, unveiled the new Developer Edition with Data Cloud integration, describing it as a \u201cfree, dedicated environment featuring 10GB of Data Cloud storage and up to 150 large language model generations per hour,\u201d designed specifically to reduce barriers to AI experimentation.
